Saudi Arabia is on a roll to become the hottest tourist destination in the world. The first Transformers indoor theme park is the latest among its many fantastic projects. Saudi Arabia’s Seven has signed a second licensed agreement with toy giant Hasbro.The theme parks will open at three of Seven’s entertainment destinations in Saudi Arabia, with excellent attractions and experiences featuring Autobots and the conspiratorial Decepticons.

The first theme park will be located in Al Hamra, Riyadh, spread across 10,000 square meters. The pulse-pounding world of the Transformers, packed with state-of-the-art technology, will leave you breathless with some incredibly immersive action to heart-stopping thrills. Megatron and Optimus Prime will indeed come to life here.

The rides and attractions will be themed around Cybertron, the home planet of the bots.

Several branded retail and themed food and beverage venues will catapult you into the Transformers universe loaded with merchandise and delectable treats. The deal will also bring the world’s first Play-Doh attraction to Saudi Arabia with multilevel playscapes, sensory discovery areas, and a plethora of fun for young minds. Fans have much to look forward to as no less than eight Play-Doh theme parks are set to open at various locations across the Kingdom over the next ten years. “By partnering with Seven in the Kingdom, we can bring even more truly unique experiences to fans of Transformers and Play-Doh. We’re sure that these new immersive attractions will entertain and delight generations of fans and families for many years to come,” said Matt Proulx, vice president for location-based entertainment at Hasbro, Inc.

Seven is investing over a whopping $13 billion to build 21 entertainment projects across 14 Saudi cities, including Jeddah, Tabuk, Abha, and Riyadh.
